About Maverick

Maverick is a 5 year old Weimaraner who is seeking a home where owners are able to be consistent with his training, attentive to signs of distress and able to redirect him as needed. Mav is 95% a great dog. He has had bites to his immediate owners when he is resource guarding. With further attention and training, and an owner who is able to read a dogs behaviors he will be the best cuddle dog ever. He lives with 2 small dogs currently. He tolerates them both and likes to ensure they stay out of trouble. He is protective of those he cares about but can/will go to place, he is comfortable in his kennel but would prefer to sleep with his owner.
