About Dixie

Meet Dixie, Dixie is a hound mix who is around 3-4 years old and weighs 35lbs. Dixie came to us as a stray. When she arrived her neck was very raw and had a big cut in it, like she had been caught in a fence, so she visited the vet clinic. Her neck has healed very nicely and we are currently working on getting her to gain more weight. Dixie is such a sweetheart, and it seems that she would make a perfect companion for anyone. Out in the yard she wants to stay close to you and she does well on a leash. Dixie also has been fine around other dogs.
