About Buck

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Buck is a purebred dog born on November 21, 2020. In February 2021, Buck suffered a leg injury when a deer hanger fell on him, necessitating surgery. After a lengthy recovery, he has fully regained his ability to run, play, and hunt. However, Buck experienced seizures a year ago after being treated with Nexgard for fleas, which stopped once the treatment was discontinued. Our vet also suggested he might have ADHD and anxiety indicating a special need for structured care. We believe Buck would thrive in a home where he can receive ample attention, training, and love. Buck has always slept with our son and spends time in an outdoor kennel when our son is at school or work. He is potty trained but marks his territory due to being unneutered. He has been raised around children and other dogs, but does not get along well with other dogs. He is, however, very friendly with our twelve-year-old chocolate lab. Buck enjoys hunting but also needs a family environment with plenty of space to run and play. We are looking for a family that will treat him as a beloved pet, not just a hunting dog, ensuring he has a comfortable place to sleep and live.
