About Twiggy

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Twiggy is an 8-year-old, 9 pound female Terrier mix, who was a stray with several medial issues when she was found in April of 2023. She had severe dental disease, pancreatitis, was extremely underweight, and she was not spayed. She fought hard to overcome pancreatitis. It had to be cured and controlled for her to even be able to have the surgeries she needed. She had six months of medication and trying to find a diet she could tolerate without a flare up. Once she was stable enough, she then had a full dental with extractions that left her with only 6 teeth. Which again, required a dietary change. So, she does require a personal chef to cook her ground turkey or chicken, with sweet potatoes, and green beans! She can also tolerate cooked oatmeal, cooked apples, and all kinds of cooked veggies. MUST HAVE REQUIREMENT: Special Diet She does take time to warm up to you, but when she does, she becomes your bestie! She prefers to come to you on her own time schedule. She will require an owner who has the patience to give her the time and space to feel comfortable. Once she is comfortable with you, she loves to cuddle. She also loves to ride in the car, get groomed, and just hang out with her human. She does well with other dogs, she is not cat tested, exceptionally well house broken, and is a good little watch dog! Twiggy is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00 She will go to her new home with a harness, leash and collar.
