About Sophia

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Sophia is a 7-year-old, 12 pound female Malti-poo, who unfortunately was returned to us due to a death in her human family. She is a happy, easy-going girl who loves car rides, cuddles, other dogs, and people. She had a very hard life until she was rescued and given the medical attention she needed. She will need someone who is either home most of the time or is able to take her with them if they go out to run errands, etc. She has separation anxiety and does not like to be left home alone. Kids would be okay, as long as they are kind and gentle and like to play. MEDICAL NEEDS: Sophia was born with a cranial deformity that affects her eye's ability to stay moist. Daily eyecare with cleansing and drops is necessary and will be for her entire life. She has had bilateral entropion surgery (abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelids roll inward). MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: Daily eyecare for her medical condition; At least one parent home most of the time Sophia is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. She will go to her new home with a harness, leash and collar.
