About Miami

French Bulldog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Miami !! Oh yes, that cute bulldog face is going to steal your heart!! z%8Fz%8F PLEASE READ HER ENTIRE POST!! **If you message us and it's clear you haven't read the post we will not consider you as an applicant. Miami is a female, 1 year old, French Bulldog. She weighs 21 pounds. She will turn 2 in September. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of her adoption. She is Heartworm negative. Bulldogs are expensive. It's just how it is. They generally have health problems and various vet needs throughout their lives. If you can't honestly say you're willing to provide that then consider picking one of our other lower maintenance dogs. Currently Miami is very healthy but she does have skin allergies. She has patches of thin fur and is being treated for that. She also has bad reactions to topical flea prevention but does fine with the oral types. She is extremely social and loves anyone and everyone. She's a feisty little bundle of love. She's very well rounded and always happy. She loves bones and toys. She likes chasing toys but hasn't mastered bringing them back yet. Miami does very well with other dogs of all sizes but she can be super pushy and hyper with them. She's not mean she is just a bulldog and has that charge in, up in your face personality. This is very typical of the breed. If you don't understand bulldogs and their antics she may not be the right dog for you. She does the same with cats. No intention to harm them she's just overly playful. Cats that will play or tolerate a playful dog would be fine. She is said to be good with kids and previously lived with several however she's not fostered with any here for us to see. Judging by her personality we think she would do well but she is a hyper thing and jumps up at times. Things to consider with very small kids. Miami does great on car rides. She does okay on the leash but does pull some and is strong for her size. She is crate trained but can be vocal for a bit when first put in or in the morning when she's ready to come out. She is mostly potty trained. Most of her accidents have been poop accidents. She doesn't give any cues when she needs to go, so that is how most accidents have happened. We try to just take her out often to minimize accidents. She also has had a few overnight accidents in the crate. She is learning the routine and making progress. She is a very feisty, hyper and higher energy dog. This is absolutely not a couch potato dog. She needs the same exercise as a larger dog. That means exercise and playtime multiple times a day. She's all happy hyper love. Due to her short nose, care needs to be taken that she doesn't overheat. She can absolutely not be left outside. These dogs can easily die from heat or over exertion. Miami has not had any trouble sharing food, treats or toys with humans. She shares well with other dogs but has growled when she has a high value bone and other dogs come to close. If you're experienced with bulldog breeds and are financially prepared for potential health issues then this awesome girl might be for you!! Located in Hampton VA. (She will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) '%BC%8FPlease message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application.'%BC%8F
