About Dakota

Currently in Mechanicsville, MD -- Available for adoption through So MD Animal Rescue Dakota, 3 years old, 60-lbs, Pit mix, female. She went to board and train because she was attacked by another dog in the adoptive home and then returned, now she avoids dogs because of fear but no aggression or reactivity, best as an only dog in a home with a dog-savvy adopter who can continue working on her training. She will bark and jump at new people. No kids since she would knock them down. Dakota loves leash walks, car rides, gold cart rides, and she loves rope toys she loves tossing around and toys. She seems to prefer men but is ok with women.
