About Female hound puppies

Beagle / Treeing Walker Coonhound
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Female hound pups (Male pups have separate post) **Looking for SEPARATE homes** We recently took in these sweet siblings from a local shelter. They are looking for indoor family homes. They are 13 weeks old. They are Hound mix puppies and should be medium size when full grown. Their mom was about 40 pounds and dad is unknown. Puppies have been given several sets of vaccines, dewormed, a microchip and spayed. The Puppies: (Photos are labeled with names) RYOBI - Female- 9 pounds - Little miss independent. She's the smallest but has a big personality. She likes to do what she wants and doesn't just follow the pack. MAKITA- Female- 10 Pounds- The explorer. Loves checking everything out. Playful and fun. Loves to play tag by booping you with her nose and running. All the puppies love other dogs and love kids, They have not yet met and cats but are young enough to learn. They try their best with potty training but are still very young and have accidents at times. They have had very few accidents when crated and let out frequently. They have not taken many car rides but a few did get sick on the ride here. They are still young and can learn with practice. They have not yet started leash training. They have started crate training and do very well. They go in for treats and sleep in the crate at night. HOWEVER they are currently in the crate with their siblings, and it's very likely that there will be some sleepless nights in your home with crate training once they are separated. They have not had any trouble sharing food treats and toys. The pups love to explore and play but are also sweet and cuddly. They are fun, curious and happy puppies. They currently only bark when playing but hounds are known for being vocal. Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family's lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. We do NOT adopt siblings into the same family. Before commenting on how sad etc, you feel that is please google 'littermate syndrome' so you can understand why we take this precaution. It is done in the best interest of the puppies. Vet and home checks required. Would not make good apartment dogs. Located in Hampton VA. (They will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius) '%BC%8FPlease message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application'%BC%8F
