About Ace

In April, a very malnourished female dog was found in a rural neighborhood in the Vista/Bonsall area. Upon checking with neighbors and the local community, an owner was not found; however, animal control picked up a male border collie that the female dog had previously seen roaming around with. On June 8th, the newly adopted dog, Tuca, delivered 11 puppies. Tuca is most likely a Doberman/Shepherd mix. She is two years old and is expected to be about 55 lbs once she finally puts on some additional weight. While we can't confirm that the puppies' father is a border collie, we suspect that is the case. There are currently 5 puppies left in the litter that need homes at the 8-week mark (Sat., 8/3). All have been dewormed and have had their first set of vaccinations.
