About Socks

Socks is up for adoption because her owner (a relative of ours) died after a long illness which resulted in her not receiving the proper care and training that she needs. We have temporarily taken her, and while she is not in any danger, we are unable to take care of another animal for the long term and need her to be rehomed ASAP! She is a sweet girl with a good temperament and gets along with most dogs and people, though we aren't sure how well she will do with cats or kids younger than 10. She likes attention, and loves nothing more between your feet and getting pet, though is ok if left alone for periods of time during the day. Socks also loves being outside, and spends a lot of her time chilling in the shade and playing with the family dog. She is crate trained, but she should be put on a consistent bathroom schedule as she gets used to her new environment. She knows certain commands and words, such as her name, sit, and come, though it is inconsistent therefore she will need some work regarding commands. Luckily, she has gotten better since being with us and is very good driven, which is a plus. She will also need work on leash training. Once again, she has gotten better since us taking her in, but she is fairly strong does pull on the leash quite a bit. Serious inquiries please don't hesitate to reach out!
