CUTENESS ALERT! AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Addie is a pitbull or pitbull mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter when she and her siblings were only a couple days old. Sadly, we aren't sure what happened to their momma so these babies were raised by their human foster momma and a bottle! Addie is now around 12 weeks old and ready to join her forEVER family! She has been lovingly cared for and well socialized and is sure to bring joy and fun to the lucky family who choose her! Puppies are a LIFE long responsibility requiring a commitment to vet care, training and stable housing. The current overpopulation crisis is proof that many people need to be reminded of that. If you are ready to offer a lifetime of love and committment to a homeless dog, we would love to hear from you! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
