About Axle

This beautiful boy is so very loving and full of life. He is great with other animals and kids, he does not like other animals to approach him while he is eating, and he likes his own crate and does not like others to approach his crate, which is understandable, and probably can be trained out of him. He came from death row and is now thriving at the rescue. He is waiting on an orthopedic specialist to see him in October because his back legs just aren't right and although he isn't in any pain, we want to make sure this won't be a future issue with his adopter. He doesn't try to eat any of the chickens here, so I think a farm would be okay for him and he would also do good in a family home. He is 60lbs and we are working to get him up to 65-70lbs. He is ok on leash and crate trained. He knows basic commands and has great recall. Come meet him today! Axle is only available for fostering until he is seen by the ortho specialist about his legs.
