About Amigo

Amigo is so sweet. He doesn't meet a stranger. He is happy to sit with you on the couch all day long. He is good on a leash and house trained. He loves to sit in the car or truck and can still jump about three feet up all on his own. How did he end up in rescue? Well, it's a sad story but we will tell you anyways... Amigos person needed to go to rehab. It was rehab or death and although she didn't want to leave Amigo behind with her family, she did. And, Amigo was not treated well by them. They neglected his medical needs, and by the looks of it, they didn't feed him much. They even kicked him because he would get close to them seeking attention but when his fur fell out because of the fleas and he started smelling like a dirty sock, they didn't take him for treatment, they just called him gross and kicked him. Well, his person then had to go to jail and that's when he was surrendered.
