About Hollister

Oh what a cute little schnookums! This is Hollister, a purebred shortie jack russell with a lightly broken coat. Hollister was used as a breeder dog so he is quite shy when he meets someone, but with tenderness, a quiet demeanor and treats, Hollister will become your friend. This beautiful boy is just 14 pounds and is 2 years old. He has been neutered and is current on rabies, DHLPP and bordetella vaccines and is heartworm negative and on prevention. Hollister is going to need someone who will be patient and kind with him until he can feel secure not being around all the other dogs he was used to. He never has been part of a family and treated as a pet, so time and patience are a must for this beautiful little soul. He is kind and tender and so very much wants to be loved. He adores tummy scratches and being brushed... but you have to give him time to trust you. That is going to be paramount with this little fellow. When you win his heart, he will be a champ! He will need to learn to walk on a leash, house manners, and be given time to acclimate to normal everyday house and family noises and activities.
