About Black Jack

Black Jack Is a scrumptious little powerhouse of a dog. He's 15 months old and weighs 14 pounds and he has 100% full of beans! He is very friendly with people, but he's just super active and is a puppy so it would be recommended for Black Jack to go to a home without small children. This little guy is curious, inquisitive, loves to hunt and play, and he is thoroughly entertaining! Black Jack came into Rescue at Raintree after his terrier instinct kicked in and he killed a litter of kitties. I know that's very sad, but he was just doing what he was bred to do. With this knowledge, Black Jack needs to go to a home that has no cats. He does love to play with other dogs, but he is a puppy and he is rough and he picks on them and just wants to play play play so he can be very annoying to other dogs. For example, there is one girl here at Raintree that he likes to play with and she has a rough coat, and she does not want to play with him any longer. He grabs a big tuft of hair on her back and pulls it out. Needless to say, she doesn't find it near as funny as he does. Because he likes to play and pix so much it would be recommended that if this fellows new family has other dogs, that they be a little larger breed. Black jack really is a fun and sweet dog. He needs someone who can take time with him to teach him manners and to have patience with his growing puppy antics.
