About Luna Urgent 911

Rhodesian Ridgeback mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This post is going out with a prayer that one special angel sees this and saves sweet Luna . Luna is just a puppy and needs a patient person to continue her training . She has learned so much in 8 months and is adjusting well to training and learned some new tricks . Luna's foster can't keep her any longer because she has to travel for business and there is no place to place her , we are looking for another foster or adopter for this sweet girl . If we don't find a placement Luna will be forced to the shelter , all shelters are euthanizing now because to full!! Please there has to be somebody out there that can take her into their loving home . Below is her post Plea from her foster on facebook . If you can take this Gem into your home please contact Kat at 516 457-3678. Luna is still waiting for a new foster or the perfect forever home (by July 20th). She is currently located in Conshohocken, PA. Please come meet her! We are looking for a new foster or forever home for our current foster pup, Luna! I have been fostering her for 7 months through A Tale of Paws Rescue. This was an emergency temporary foster situation, as she was being kept outdoors in the winter months. I will be traveling for work soon (starting early August) and unable to continue to foster due to my schedule. Luna is super sweet but does take a very short time to warm up to new humans. I believe she is approximately 1 %BD%BD years old, she is about 60 lbs, short haired, has been spayed, up to date on shots and is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She has been to a few training sessions and is super smart and learns quickly. She knows sit, paw, down, stay - and is working to improve jumping and mouthing when feeling playful or excited. She walks well on a leash but does get energetic when you pass other dogs or see a birds/squirrels. I'm currently walking her once a day for 45+ minutes or a shorter walk in the early morning and early evening. So far, Luna has been friendly towards other dogs (that she's met in my neighborhood) but does get VERY excited and can play a bit rough. She is a bit too curious around kitties or other small mammals, so I think she'd be more comfortable as an only pet to start. I also recommend no children under the age of 12, as she may jump or knock them down. I want to find the perfect home/foster for Luna and will vet/check references and do a home visit for anyone interested. I'm happy to answer any questions, or schedule a meet-and-greet!
