She is quite affectionate. Her favorite place is on your lap. If you don't like a cat sitting on your lap or next to you on the arm of a chair. She would not be the kitty for you. She did not like sleeping in my bed because she doesn't like to be disturbed when you roll over or move. She will get up from your lap numerous times if you need to move. I haven't figured out the difference.
