About Forest

Forest is a sweet lab mix rescued from wandering the Wissahickon woods. He is house trained, crate trained, and highly food motivated. He is not desctructive, has no interest in resource guarding, and doesn't mind being home alone. He likes to entertain himself with toys, chews, and kongs. He also LOVES belly rubs and learning new tricks. He can sit, play dead, lie down, 'go to bed,' break, and more! He has been working with a foster and trainer consistently for several months on some fearfulness, but becomes braver everyday. He loves pack walks and meeting new dog friends, even if it takes him a minute to trust them. He's also only 40 pounds, the most delicious chocolate color -- and has soulful brown eyes that make withholding treats impossible. This lovebug is up to date on vaccines, healthy as can be, and ready to find his forever.
