About Buddy

Hi there! My name is Buddy, and I'm a charming 1-year-old Pitbull mix with a beautiful brown and white coat. I'm a neutered male, weighing in at 41 pounds, and I'm fully vaccinated. I'm a social butterfly who loves people and gets along great with children and other dogs. I have not been cat tested, but I can be if you'd like. I have a playful energy that will keep you entertained, and I love playing with toys, especially Kongs. I'm also very food motivated, which will make training a breeze! I enjoy playing in the backyard with the other foster dogs. I am very much a peacekeeper in the crowd. For example, I have a foster sister who doesn't like being put on a leash, and I try to protect her by blocking your hand with my head. At first, I might be a little shy and lay down so you'll carry me, but once I get to know you, I'll go anywhere with you. I'm very sweet and love to cuddle, but I don't jump up on furniture, so you'll have to help me up if you want some snuggle time. I've just finished my heartworm treatment and am already vaccinated and neutered. I'm happy, healthy, and ready to start my new life. I've never lived in a home before, so I'll need some help learning home manners, but I'm doing great with potty training. I'm currently being fostered in Franklin, TN, but I can be transported out of state for the right home. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm your guy!
