About Lola Sapphire

LOCATION: Dallas, TX DOB: 03/02/2024 Meet Lola Sapphire: Your Ray of Sunshine! Lola Sapphire is a vocal, confident, and happy little Dane/mastiff who brings a ray of sunshine to every morning. This goofy pup loves to be by your side and is still a bit mouthy, so she needs plenty of chew toys, ropes, and stuffed animals to keep her from chewing up things around the house. With a high energy level, Lola would thrive with an active family. She's not your typical couch potato Dane; the moment she wakes up, she's ready for playtime and happy zoomies, eager to take on the world! She doesn't resource guard her food and is a sweet pup who loves being part of the pack. Lola needs an active family who can keep up with her energy. She loves to play for two hours before settling down for a long nap. She'll do well with other young dogs that can wear her out, but she'll need some time to adjust to new roommates as she can be a little scared initially. There's never a dull moment with Lola; she loves everyone and has never met a stranger. Friendly and attention-loving, she's always ready to make new friends. Lola is crate trained, so you can go to work without worrying about a mess when you get home. She loves her crate and has no problem going in when it's time, especially when rewarded with a treat. She does well when left alone and doesn't have separation anxiety. Potty training is going great for Lola. She knows to go outside to use the restroom but still uses pee pads occasionally, especially on rainy days. She doesn't have accidents as long as a pee pad is available. Lola loves males, females, and kids. She's getting used to being around cats and is learning to be gentle with the kitten. While she's a little afraid when meeting other dogs, she warms up after a while. Lola's favorite things include cooked carrots, homemade ice treats (yogurt, peanut butter, strawberries), pumpkin, home-cooked dog food (ground beef/chicken, broccoli, carrots, and rice), frozen dog ice cream, pup cups, watermelon, strawberries, cheese, and dog treats. All of our Great Danes are altered, if medically possible, fully vetted, micro-chipped, and on heartworm prevention or treatment prior to being adopted.
