About Aurora

Due to personal and financial hardship, I am hoping to rehome Aurora before October. About Aurora: Aurora is not spayed but up to date with shots and rabies shot and microchipped. Born on 8/25/2021 and she is half doberman/husky. She loves to run, go for walks, and look for lizards hiding in the grass (lol). She knows commands like: sit, down, up, off, paw, reach, touch, paw, and turn. She's an outdoor dog and prefers to sleep in her cage in my garage only at night time. Inside the house, she's well behaved, hangs out by the front door and usually sits next to me/by my feet. She's very independent and sociable with other dogs. If she's inside the house, she will chill with you but if outside, she will wonder and play.She likes to sit next to her person and get belly rubs and this will take time. She obviously will need to get to know and trust you first . She loves napping in the sun, snacking on peanut butter, yogurt, and cheese! Aurora enjoys playing in the water in the summer (in their little pool or the lake) and dip her whole mouth when she drinks water (like a husky!). She loves squeky and treat toys! She is still learning and would need someone that can train her and help her correct her resource guarding behavior. She's not around lots of people all the time but she pretty much mind her business- playing and running around. She doesn't bark a lot and ok around kids/people.
