About Luke

Luke (Skywalker) will win your heart with his one lightsaber blue eye and sweet puppy face. Originally found running the streets with his sister, Leia, orphan Luke is searching the galaxy for his forever family. About a year old Akita, Luke wants to spend his days playing tug, chewing bones and chasing balls. He loves being with his humans all day, even babies and kids, and enjoys playing with other friendly dogs. Romping around in a secure yard and coming inside for a good, long nap is his specialty. He will even lay down in the car for field trips, too. House trained, sitting and staying and recalling to his name are just a few of his Jedi mind tricks. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications.
