About Patch

This adorable pup is Patch. He is a 6-month-old border collie mix. Patch currently weighs 41 lb so we expect he will be about 55-60 lb full grown. Patch is a high energy young dog who is looking for someone that is ready to play and train with him. He is a happy boy and will immediately make friends with any stranger he meets. Patch would benefit from an active lifestyle and some training to keep him mentally stimulated and to teach basic manners. He is treat/food motivated and eager to learn. if Patch is left to his own devices, he looks for things to do, so he might get into things when bored. Patch could even be a great candidate to get into some dog sports such as agility training. Patch would do best in a home with older children ages 10 years and up. Patch would love a high energy dog friend to play with, but might be too much for a mellow or older dog. We can 'cat-test' him if needed, but he might be too energetic for a cat.
