Pepper was adopted from a shelter in Tennessee in 2020 and is now 4 years old. She was spayed when we adopted her, and her tummy was tattooed after the procedure. She is a house-broken, crate-trained, and loving dog who loves going on walks or 'sniff'aris. She also loves tug-of-war, fetch, and puzzles. She knows some commands and tricks like sit, wait/free, let's go, dance, and touch. Pepper needs an experienced family of dog lovers to handle her reactivity providing frequent socialization training as currently we cannot provide her with enough consistency. Her reactivity includes grooming--she displays extreme anxiety around ear cleaning and nail clipping. Ideally, she needs to be in a home with a yard to let out her energy and provide stimulation. She's allergic to cats and is likely best in a single-pet home with no small kids. Upon adoption, we'll provide all her treats, toys, medicine (heartworm, flea & tick), and other items as well as her bed and crate.
