About Piper

I've had Piper since she was 6 months old. She is loving, sweet & submissive, eager to please and just wants a lap to snuggle up in. She is an indoor dog but still loves a good game of retrieve with a tennis ball and walks. She's ok on a leash with work but will bark like a crazy girl when other dogs come passing by. Fenced yard required. She has no behavior issues, we just have a baby now that is showing signs of dog allergies. She doesn't mind older kids but gets nervous with young kids who chase after her. Not sure how she would do with cats. Ok with some dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the family. She's crate trained but spent most of her life sleeping in our bed until about a year ago. She's very gentle and her feelings are hurt easily so yelling or loud commands are not ideal or needed with her. She was with just me (female) household until last 3-year years. She prefers women generally. She looks like a border collie but is the small size of a sheltie. We keep her clipped. She's a young 7 years old. Weighs around 30 lbs.
