About Jax

We adopted Jax in August 2022 as a 9 month old puppy from a rescue organization in New York City. We quickly found our small Brooklyn apartment was not suitable for this energetic pup and relocated to NC earlier this year. We spent a lot of time training him, acclimating him to other dogs and people with long walks and play sessions. Jax is fully potty trained, knows a few tricks, turns 3 in November, and finds great joy in protecting the homestead via barking. Jax is a great dog.. loyal, playful and lots of energy with some anxieties: cars, cats, people entering the home. While Jax has shown no signs of aggression, we found with our new baby and demands of our new work schedule, we don't have the means, energy or time to give Jax his best life. We are looking for a home that has ample outdoor space (Jax LOVES to run...especially chasing squirrels or other wildlife), and owners that are willing to work with him on his barking, recall and other needs.
