About Spike

Hello Friends, my name is Spike and I am a 15 year old Airedale mix. I came to the KAWS Sanctuary with my canine companion, Coco, after our owner passed away. Coco and I are experiencing canine dementia and our caregivers have us on a routine that keeps us content. Coco and I spend most of our days sleeping and come out to explore the senior dog home yard in the mornings and evenings when it isn't too hot. I am being monitored by my vet for a skin irritation on my back as well as kidney function. I am grateful to spend my days with my long time friend, Coco.
