Ready to spice up your life? Meet Max and Ruby: A Bonded Pair Seeking a Loving Forever Home! We found Max and Ruby at a gas station in Indianapolis. They had been there since the station opened that morning, and no one knew where they came from. When we cslled the numbers on the tags, their owner said they didn't want them and would just drop them off at anther gas station if they picked them up. Not wanting anything to happen to these sweet dogs, we took them home and have been fostering them ever since. Max and Ruby are a bonded pair, and we assume they are siblings due to their strong connection. Sadly, we believe they've experienced abuse based on their anxiety around people. Meet Ruby! Energy: Moderate Personality: Shy, Mischievous, Sweet Traits: Ruby is a loveable dog with an adorable face. She can be shy and skittish. Once she warms up to you and gets comfortable her personality will come through. However, Ruby can e mischievous at times. When disciplined too harshly, she may pee out of fear, so we found that pointing at her and saying 'bad girl' is enough. Ruby does well around children, allowng them to pet her. She'll just sniff them curiously. Ruby is trainable it just takes her more time than Max. Both Max and Ruby are looking for a loving, patient home where they can feel safe and secure. They would do best in a home without young children due to Max's nervousness. An active family who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation would be ideal for Max, while Ruby would thrive with a gentle touch and lots of love. IMPORTANT NOTE: We wll not seprate Max and Ruby. They are too connteced and rely on each other for comfort and protection.
