About Lady

Lady is a beautiful Catalouha Shepard Mix that was found in June '24, emaciated on a desolate country road near Corpus Christy, TX. Lady appeared to have recently weaned puppies. After spending several hundreds of dollars to get her checked out by a Vet, she tested positive for heart worms but her other organs are healthy and have not been negatively affected by the heart worms. She also is being treated w antibiotics for tick borne diseases none of which are Lyme disease. She is currently on doxycycline and has made a complete health improvement since starting treatment. She is currently on her first month of oral flea , tick and heart worm prevention and is doing great. She is great w cats and people but not so fond of female dogs. She is house broken, knows several commands and is wicked smart! This is a special animal that deserves all the best! Her only bad habit is trying to get into the trash which is probably because she never knew when she would eat again so she is extremely food driven. It's highly unlikely she has ever been vaccinated and we will try to raise money to do that soon but had to address the immediate health issues first. She is not fixed yet either.Lady is currently being fostered in San Antonio.
