Lettie is such a sweet pup, and beautiful to boot. She is a miniature australian shepherd (also known as mini american shepherd) and is currently crate training and puppy pad training, knows her name, to come, and to sit, though we are still working on her recall when she gets distracted. She's been great at sleeping in her kennel at night (though she prefers to cuddle with you on the bed) and is getting better at letting us know when she needs to go outside, but that is still a work in progress. She loves other dogs, cats, and children. She just wants to play with everyone and would probably do best in a home with another doggo friend. She has shown a little too much interest in the chickens but I think with training she would learn to ignore them, they are just too much fun to chase right now. We have a large tortoise which has caused unexpected problems with having a new pup. They really need to be kept separate from each other and I currently don't have the set up for that. I want to do the best thing for Lettie and as much as we love her and believe she is just the best pup we could hope for, if I am brutally honest I don't think we are the right people for her. She would come with her kennel, the food she's been eating, her soft bed, and her many toys and treats.
