About Sota

Hello gorgeous! This one year old lady is Sota and she is exceptionally beautiful! Sota was able to go to a weekend foster a couple weeks ago and this is what they had to say: 'Sota is definitely a female pit mix and is a real sweetheart ! She has lots of energy and loves to play. She follows me around every step I make she's right there . I am not certain how she is with children as I do not have any small children in my home . I don't see any signs of food aggression. I hand fed her and held a bowl for her while she was eating and even pulled the bowl away to slow her down . She did just fine . She also seems to be treat motivated . Sota loved her car ride to my house and did very well in the car , she had a bath after we got home and did very well with that too . She walks great with a harness and leash but pulls with the leash attached to the collar . She listens pretty well for a dog who has been in a shelter . She definitely loves being around people . She takes her treats very gently too . She has a bit of separation anxiety but only whines to be near us . For the most part she is potty trained and she has only had 1 accident. She could benefit from a slow feed bowl as well. She has really enjoyed her stay with us and I'm sure she will be devastated when we have to take her back to the shelter . Unfortunately we can not keep her since we are full as it is.' Please consider giving Sota her forever home!!
