About Moose

URGENT!!! UPDATE: GOING TO SHELTER IN 5 DAYS!!! PLEASE HELP!!! [Case opened on 7/11/24]. HAMERSVILLE, OHIO. 4 Y/O MALE, SHEPHERD/HUSKY. His name is 'MOOSE '. UTD on shots. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. NOT Good with cats, CHASES. House trained. Crate trained. No known medical issues. HIGH PREY DRIVE . Currently on HILLS SCIENCE DIET food. Weighs 75 lbs. Good with car rides. Favorite Playtime and Toy: Moose loves playing with other dogs. He loves playing with toys. He loves cuddling. He loves going for walks, hikes and jogging. Moose is a very sweet boy. All around Good Boy. He is well behaved, mellow and chill but also loves play time. Moose does have an Abuse History of being kept on a chain. Previous Owner rescued him from this awful situation. His collar was actually embedded on him when she rescued him! So this boy needs a great loving home with a fenced in yard where he can be free and thrive. Moose was originally processed through my Service by the Previous Owner who then surrendered Moose to a Trainer. So Moose is now with the Trainer and has been there about 2 weeks. The Trainer's Assessment is as follows: Moose has shown no aggression. He is House trained and Crate trained. He loves other dogs. He is doing well with Training Sessions. Good on a leash and Good Recall (still working). Very intelligent and loves to learn. Has seen no issues so far.
