About Chico

Chico is a 5 year old Mali mixed with shepherd (still intact) who has a bunch of energy and is always never too tired to play or go for walks. Chico was my K9 partner when I was at the PD however, when I left, I was able to retire him out and became a house dog. Due to my current work schedule, it's hard for me to keep up with him and give him the attention he desires and just overall, barely home. He needs a good home/owner that understands how to take care of these dogs and can meet his desires like I'm unable to do currently. I hate to let him go as he is my buddy and is a good dog. He is very good about not tearing up things when I'm not home but will sneak into the bathroom at times to get into the trash (never has torn up furniture). He needs a muzzle when going into public settings I.e when I take him for baths at the pet store or when he has vet appointments; he is up to date on all vaccines. He does very well with other humans but not so much with other dogs, especially bigger breeds. He does have a missing canine tooth from a bite at work but it doesn't bother him nor is it infected. He's been missing it for a little over a year now. He loves his tug toys and just toys in general. Also, he enjoys good sized yards to run around him and roll around in the grass or dirt. He'll come with the remaining amount of food along with a crate plus his toys and other items I had through work when he was a working dog.
