About Kimchi

We are incredibly saddened at the thought of rehoming our little girl, Kimchi. We agreed to take her in about 2 years ago temporarily as her owner was experiencing health issues. They are no longer able to take her back. We are unable to keep her due to our other dog (Nari) not getting along with her. Kimchi is a very sweet heeler/lab mix. She loves to cuddle and has never shown any kind of aggression towards people. She does have some anxiety and is often skittish, so she takes trazodone as needed. She tends to be the underdog when she's around another group of dogs - she's shy and sometimes unsure of herself. Hence, we think she would be more comfortable as the only dog. This would be Kimchi's third home, so we really want to make sure this is a forever home. We don't want her to keep moving around. She needs to be in a home that is very active (as a working breed, she needs a lot more exercise than most other breeds). She needs at least 30-40minutes of outside play per day (fetch, nose work, herding, swimming, any of those sorts). We prefer her go to a family who is knowledgeable and experienced with heelers. She has lived in a townhouse in the past, but it was not a good fit. She will do better in a home with a yard. She can be in a space with cats, but she does get excited and tries to play with them.
