[Read About Natural Seizure Care] BOOMER is a 5-yr-old, 75lb American Bulldog whose family tragically dumped him at the New York City kill pound because they claimed they could not afford his medical bills due to his epilepsy. Fortunately, a 501(c)(3) rescue group stepped up at the last minute to save BOOMER from death row, and placed the gentle giant in a loving foster home where he has been thriving for the past three months, but they are leaving the country soon and cannot take BOOMER with them. His foster family writes as follows: 'Boomer is such a love bug, he loves everyone, including strangers and kids of all ages, dogs and even cats too! He loves to play ball and roam around the yard. When he looks at you with his beautiful face, your heart will melt. He's house broken and listens to commands. He loves to be petted and scratched. His kisses are great and his waddle is adorable. He has so much love to give and wants to be loved by you. BOOMER will make you complete and will give you unconditional love and affection.' When asked if BOOMER had any behavior problems, his original family stated, 'None, my dog is the best!' His family described BOOMER as an active, playful, social and affectionate dog who liked to spend most of his time where people are. BOOMER loved it when his family gave him baths and brushed him. They walked him regularly for 15-20 minutes, 3-4 times a day, and BOOMER never pulled on the leash. BOOMER was never crated and doesn't need to be because he does not chew on furniture or engage in destructive behaviors. BOOMER loves to go on car rides! When asked what their favorite thing about BOOMER was, his parent stated 'Everything! He is lovable, sweet, and family oriented.' BOOMER loved getting treats and playing, walking or running in the park with his family. His family noted that BOOMER is fully house trained and never has accidents. BOOMER's rescue is seeking a foster family to care for him, and will cover the costs of his medications and vet care. And we will transport BOOMER to a loving home anywhere in the USA for free!
