About Stella

Meet Stella, a 2 year old border collie kelpie mix. Stella is a total lover and is extremely affectionate. She is good with cats, horses, and livestock, but failed as working ranch dog. She explained to us that she wants to be a pet rather than work cattle. She is good with other dogs after proper introductions and loves all people. Stella's ideal home would be in a family with children 8 an older. She likes the quiet life, so she would be a wonderful dog for neighborhood walks, chilling at home after having her breakfast, then after school having the kids teach her games like ball playing and frisbee. She would then be content to curl at their feet while they did their homework. In summertime she would love to hike and go camping. She is not a barker and would be a perfect guest in the campground! Stella is house trained, UTD on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She is being fostered in Southeastern Oregon. Adoption fee is $400.
