About Aero

AERO is a 1 and 1/2 year old, 11 pound Shih Tzu who was found as a stray in really rough shape! Our guess is that he had been on his own for awhile. AERO is very sweet, super playful and high energy. He dances on his back legs when he wants your attention! You can tell he is starved for affection and he literally melts into you when he gets it. He loves laps and snuggles and kisses. Aero is a climber who can and will fit through any space to get to you. He isn't trying to escape, he just wants to be with his person. He needs a very secure yard with a 6 foot privacy fence to keep him safe. He is not leash trained and is working on potty training. Aero gets along well with all other small dogs, big ones scare him. He loves to play with other little dogs and he will have to have a friend if he can't be with his person all the time. He won't handle being alone well. Toys bring him pure joy, like a kid at Christmas! At night he sleeps in a special doggy room with his foster siblings and does well. He would prefer to sleep with his person though. AERO has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. MORE about AERO: Not kid or cat tested, but older kids should be fine. He will bark at people passing by, strange dogs and unfamiliar sounds. Likes: stuffed toys. Dislikes: not being with his person.
