Ready to spice up your life! Meet Max & Ruby: A Bonded Pair Seeking a Loving Forever Home! We found Max and Ruby at a gas station in Indianapolis. They had been there since the station opened that morning, and no one knew where they came from. When we called the number on their tags, their owner said they didn't want them and would just drop them off at another gas station if they picked them up. Not wanting anything to happen to these sweet dogs, we took them home and have been fostering them ever since. Max and Ruby are a bonded pair, and we assume they are siblings due to their strong connection. Sadly, we believe they've experienced abuse based on their anxiety around people. Despite this, they have shown incredible resilience and love. Meet Max: Breed: Mixed Breed ? Age: Unknown Personality: Energetic, Protective, Affectionate Traits: Max is full of energy and loves to play as much as he can. He also adores being a lap dog, even though he doesn't realize his size. He's very protective of Ruby and will stand in front of her if he thinks she is in danger. Max gets nervous around kids and tends to bark at them but has never shown aggression. He has warmed up to our other dogs, who are older and less energetic. He is a trainable dog. Max knows how to; sit, paw shake, and lay down. Both Max and Ruby are looking for a loving, patient home where they can feel safe and secure. They would do best in a home without young children due to Max's nervousness. An active family who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation would be ideal for Max, while Ruby would thrive with a gentle touch and lots of love. Important Note: We will not separate Max and Ruby. They are too connected and rely on each other for comfort and protection.
