About Bandit

Adoption Fee: $100
American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Looking to rehome my Bandit. He is a wonderful dog. He loves to be loved. He enjoys playing and going for walks. He loves to sleep. Bandit is used to walking with a harness that clips into a seat belt so he is safe in the car. He does well in the car. The problem is as he matures he and my senior (13 yrs) intact dog are starting to bump heads, even though Bandit is nuetered. I think it is complicated by neighbors on both sides having dogs that go into heat. However, as Bandit gets older he does becomes more of a dominant dog. I have 4 dogs total. I have tried working with Bandit and my senior dog and thought the issue was resolved, but it is not. My senior dog is too old for a fresh start. As heartbroken as I am to let him go, I feel it is the best option to find Bandit a new loving home. I have had him about a year, since he was 2 months old. He has quite a personality. He did very well during a multi week obedience training. The instructor noted Bandit is more people oriented than dog orientated. He is a little shy/timid in new situations but quickly becomes comfortable with love and encouragement. He recently stopped digging outside. He knows to only chew on toys, is totally housebroken and does not need to go outside at night (except for rain exceptions). I am asking for a small rehoming fee in an effort to keep him out of a bad situation. I couldn't figure out how to get the photo right side up. Bandit loves going places and is very well behaved. Please contact me with any questions.
