About Poppy

Poppy is a young Australian Shepherd puppy who is estimated to have been born around the beginning of May. Currently she is about 3 months old. We think she is a standard size puppy but we don't know for sure. Her foster momma describes her as 'a softy and a snuggler'. She plays well with other dogs of different sizes. She's doing well with crate training and working hard on house training but as with all puppies still has the occasional accident. Poppy enjoys the water and is busy working on her swimming skills. She will play ball but is still learning bringing it back. Poppy has done well when introduced to children and groups of people. She should make a good companion for an active and busy family. She's working on her leash skills and as with any puppy this takes time and practice. Poppy will do best with a doggy playmate and a fenced yard. She is spayed, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines and dewormer and heartworm prevention. An adopter will need to be willing to continue vaccine series until fully vaccinated.
