About Olive

Olive is a one year old German Shepherd with a heart of gold! Despite all that she has been through, she is incredibly sweet and loyal. She gets along great with other dogs and really enjoys having another dog around. She is gentle and sweet with kitties and kids too! When she's done playing, she can be seen snuggling with her 4 year old human foster brother. She loves to play with stuffies and is a great teammate in puppy soccer! She is house trained, crate trained, very well behaved on a leash and has proven to be very easy to train with commands. She is a smart girl! Olive is a 'talker' and loves to say hi when you come home. This little pup only weighs 42 pounds (up from 35 when she came to us malnourished). She has a condition called megaesophagus, but that doesn't stop her! She has a special chair that she eats in, and she has to stay upright in her chair for 10 minutes after she eats. She can get into her chair herself and is well behaved in her chair. Her condition is very manageable and primarily includes accommodating her alternative feeding needs. It is a small trade for such an amazing and loyal best friend! This beautiful girl will make a great addition to any family!
