About Ivan

Ivan is a 3 year old hunk of love who bonds very closely with 'his person'. He is a smart boy who can be shy at first, but once he warms up to you he thinks he is your lap dog. He has a lot of love and affection to give to his special person. I adopted Ivan from a local rescue, who invested months of training and vet care to get Ivan back to his best self. However, he is still very uncomfortable around children which is why I need to rehome him. Ivan needs a home without children to be able to fully relax and be his best self. I have a 9 year old daughter and I can no longer keep him due to his fear and uncomfortableness around children. He gets along with other dogs, but not sure about cats. Ivan knows his basic commands, walks nicely on a leash with regular collar, doggy door trained, crate trained, and loves car rides. Ivan loves to chew on bones, cuddling soft toys, treat puzzles, eating ice, splashing in the water, and belly rubs.
