About Sue

This lovely girl is named Sue.. She was owner surrendered to Okeechobee shelter due to her people moving. She is 6 yrs young. Knows the command sit, hw negative and now spayed!!! Sue is very stimulated by other dogs, She gets excited and barks. She nips at them to get them going. Yet, when all is quiet, she is too. She would be fine in a home without another dog and would do best with a fenced yard. She needs leash work, but knows some basic commands. She crates easily. So she switches from herdy to calm. Because she is motion activated, she would not be a good running mate or a fun dog for long walks. She would love to be someone's companion dog. She is not the least bit interested in playing ball. I find that she just wants to be wherever I am, but no anxiety. She doesn't like thunder or gunshots but handles it okay. She is fine with my little dogs. I don't think she had ever been around any. She really just wants dogs to run and play, so she tried to get them going with barking and being kind of in their face. Not all dogs will like that. She would be fine by herself or with another playful dog. Cats are like not there lol.. . We are in need of a border savvy adopter. Anyone that can help her ??
