About Thor

Thor was originally saved from the shelter euthanasia list back in 2021, by another rescue that has since dissolved. He sat for almost two years at the rescue, and his general health and well-being declined. With the closing of the rescue, we stepped in to help and get Thor the proper medical care he so desperately needed. After months of recovery and healing from the inside-out, we have been blessed to watch Thor's personality blossom and his award-winning smile shine! He has a playful spirit, regal look and the most incredibly soulful eyes. He's a simple man, wanting to live a simple life -- all he needs is a soft bed and his favorite toys. He's far from 'needy' as he prefers to spend time relaxing or entertaining himself, tossing his toys around for fun, occasionally bringing them to you for just a few minutes of 'tug'. Our handsome boy would make a wonderful companion! The perfect home for Thor would have a yard to run and play in and/or someone who will take him on daily walks, outings and adventures. And while he is not reactive to other dogs in passing, he would prefer to be your only 'king of the house' so he can go about his day as he pleases. Thor is fully obedience trained and knows all the basic commands, including how to walk without pulling on a leash and how to sit, waiting without rushing through any door. He is also crate trained, potty trained and is a perfect gentleman who keeps his room clean! Thor's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, neuter, microchip and an in-home session with our trainer so you can learn the training tools and methods of communication he already knows.
