About Charlie Brown

Our very sad man is now up for ADOPTION!!! Charlie has come a long way since his rescue day, he is unrecognizable! What a horrible life he must have led prior to intake to our rescue :'( We are unsure of what kind of dog he is, he's quite unique looking. He may be some kind of Spaniel/Poodle mix. We think he's 8-10 years old & weighs in around 20lbs. Stats on Charlie - - He enjoys the company of other dogs & is cat social - Due to his trauma history we are going to say no kids - Charlie is affectionate & loving despite his horrific history, but we are looking for a dog savvy handler that can understand he is still learning how to dog. He can be unsure of certain things & will need positive guidance to assess new things properly - Charlie Brown has a substantial heart murmur. We have had him seen by a cardiologist and there is no need for medication at this time. He cannot have strenuous exercise Ol' Brown is hoping someone empathic will open their heart & home to him in his final years. He's quirky & silly at times, but has the potential to be your constant sidekick. Someone who can understand the state this poor dog lived in most of his life & will be forgiving if he's not perfect.
