About Spider

This beefy block head is Spider he is about 2 yrs old and 72 pounds. He is such a handsome boy! He was a special save for us as he was about to be euthanized within 24 hours of us submitting a tag for him! He sat in a kennel for a very long time going unnoticed and we have no idea why! He is absolutely stunning! This guy is very strong and pulls on a leash so he will need some leash work. Currently he seems pretty anxious but hopefully that will settle with time. It's possibly that he is just anxious about being stuck in a loud kennel for so long! He has gotten along with other dogs thus far however he can be pushy and dominant towards some dogs. We think he will need a submissive playmate or female k9 companion. One positive this is he seems to accept corrections fairly well from other dogs so that is a plus. He does cry in his crate, but will settle after a bit again common with dogs coming out of a shelter environment. He is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped! He is being fostered in Eugene.
