Billy Ray Cyrus is a 2-3 year old rescue from the Rock bridge County SPCA over a year ago. He was tossed over the top of a kennel fence at night, during a thunder storm by his prior owner. He is a presumed former hunting dog as he is very sensitive to gunshot and banging noises. But as a pet Cyrus is the perfect family dog being good with cats, other dogs and people, and children. He is shy at first but is very affectionate. He is house trained and loves to hike on trails. He needs a new home soon as his present owners are moving out of the country. New owner must get approved with the Rockbridge County SPCA in Lexington VA. He is the sweetest dog I have ever taken into my care and would fit in well with a family looking for a quiet and gentle 47 pound Redbone Hound.
