About Bowie

Bowie is a super unique looking guy! He has one amber and one blue eye! Bowie's life has been totally turned upside down. He was adopted out from FCR as a kitten with his brother, Adam, and both were recently returned due to no fault of their own. Owner was having a baby and moving to Florida. He has taken some time to come around since his family let him down, but if you give him that time to adjust to you and your household, he is a sweet boy and likes to nap with you. Bowie and Adam do not have to stay together, but they may adjust easier if they have each other in their new home. In his foster home, Bowie has been a little skittish. He is doing well with a noisy 6 year old in his foster home, but it can sometimes get overwhelming for him since he's not used to it. He loves pets when he is in his safe space and if you sit quietly near him, he will come to see you. He may grab your hand (no claws!) to get even more pets! If he gets startled, he will hiss to say, 'I'm big and scary! Stay away!' But he is just being vocal. He has NEVER bitten or scratched anyone in the foster home.
