About Demi

Are you looking for an active, beautiful and talented dog with lots of potential? Then you need to meet our Demi! She is a stunning two year old black shepherd mix who loves to play ball, run, chew on her bones, and hang out with people. Demi recently attended an AKC Fastcat Race in Austin with a trainer and ran 20.99 MPH! This was her first race, and she knew exactly what to do and truly wanted to catch the lure and win. What a smart and talented doggie! Demi will also make an excellent travel companion because she did great on her first big road trip and impressed all who met her. Demi would make a fantastic running partner, agility dog, or hiking buddy. She weighs around 60 pounds and heartworm negative and is totally vetted. In addition, she is potty trained and knows her basic commands. Sadly, Demi has lived the past few months in boarding because the shelter she was in became too crowded. She desperately needs a foster or forever home. Since Demi is an active young dog, she will need a home with a six foot fence and an owner who will make sure she receives daily exercise.
