Ginger is a 1-year-old female Long Coat Chihuahua mix weighing 11 pounds. She was found tied to a vet clinic door with a smaller male China and a 120 pound ( yes you read that correct) female black Labrador. The clinic requested assistance as ACS had not responded. PPR rescued all 3. Ginger is young and energetic, but she is working hard at learning the routines of potty breaks and feeding manners. She is good with other dogs and respectful of our chickens. She has been amazingly good with housebreaking given our crazy schedule at times. She is very busy and curious in the yard. So far, she has not shown an interest in toys, but I expect that to blossom soon. Ginger would benefit greatly from structure and a training class. She had been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $300.
